This week, Jakarta Provincial Government will conduct socialization about capital loan towards peddlers in traditional markets. The socialization will engage the Bank DKI and PT Jaminan Kredit Daerah (Jamkrida).

By doing so, the small and micro peddlers can develop their business well

“We’ll do the socialization gradually. Our target is peddlers in traditional markets,” said Head of Micro Small and Medium Cooperative Enterprises Department Department, Irwandi, Wednesday (9/2).

According to Irwandi, the main target of the socialization is peddler in traditional market, folk market and guidance location (lokbin).

“By doing so, the small and micro peddlers can develop their business well,” he uttered.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Jakarta Market Cooperative Central (Puskopas), Zaenal admitted he was so glad with the plan. He admitted, lots of peddlers still need a loan for their business.

“So far, there are only two markets, namely Mayestik and Manggarai. We hope the loan aid could be distributed equitably,” he disclosed.
